Reminder

What is the reminder?

The Reminder does exactly, what the title of the topic makes you think about. It reminds you about shows, you would like to watch. Be aware, that it can only remind you, of the TV Browser program is running in the background!

Settings

You can choose, in which way you would like to get reminded.

• reminder window

A dialog pops up with details about the show you get reminded about.

• play sound

The chosen sound will be played. The possible sata types are wav, aif, rmf, au or midi

• run application

Starts an external program. The parametersystem gets used for this.

It can even be arranged, that the reminded show gets handed over to plugins. To do this choose behind Send reminded program to the plugin you would like to use.

If you woukd like to get reminded by a window, you can set the time to pass until die dialog closes again.

You can choose a standard time the reminder will use by creating a memory.

If you would like to get asked for how long the window will pop up when creating a memory choose Show time selection dialog

Reminder

Use the menu Plugins->Edit reminder list... to get to the reminder overview. Here you can select reminders and remove them by clicking the trash can.

You can adjust the reminder time by clicking the edit symbol or by double clicking the cell in the second colum.

To add a show to the list right click its entry in the program table and select "Remind me" in the popup menu.

To export a show to a plugin click the middle button of the three on the bottom left while the show is selected. This way you can easily print all reminders for example. To do that you just export them to the print plugin.

The settings button onn the left opens the settings page of the reminder.
